Built on teamwork. Driven by passion.

Hi, I’m Anthony Amenta, a CG Supervisor with 18 years of experience in the animation industry. I’ve had the chance to work on a wide range of projects, from action-packed series like Marvel’s What If…? to the Emmy-winning The Dragon Prince, and I’m especially proud of the teams I’ve led along the way. I love collaborating with artists, solving creative challenges, and finding smart ways to bring big ideas to life. I care just as much about the people behind the work as I do about the final product, and I always try to foster a team environment that’s supportive, driven, and fun.

FAQs

Q: Are you available for freelance or contract work?

Yes! I’m open to short-term contracts, freelance work, or consulting, especially if the project is creatively engaging and a good team fit.

Q: How do you support your artists’ growth while managing tight deadlines?

I make time for mentorship, even during busy productions. I regularly schedule one-on-ones to check in with artists, offer support, and identify areas where they want to grow. Whether it’s giving constructive feedback on shots or helping troubleshoot technical challenges, I work to create an environment where the team feels heard, supported, and confident in their work.

Q: What tools and software are you most comfortable with?

I’m highly experienced with Maya, Nuke, ShotGrid, Arnold but can adapt to nearly any production tools or software.

Q: Have you supervised remote or hybrid teams?

Yes. I’ve led both in-studio and fully remote teams across time zones. I’m a big believer in consistent check-ins, clear documentation, and using collaborative tools to keep everyone on the same page.

Q: How involved are you in shot reviews and approvals?

Very. I lead regular dailies, provide clear and actionable feedback, and coordinate with directors or clients when required. I’m also hands-on when needed, jumping into shots or troubleshooting files to help get them across the finish line.

Q: Do you only work in supervision roles?

While my recent focus has been on CG supervision, I’m always open to rolling up my sleeves. I started as a lighting and compositing artist, and I’m happy to support teams hands-on when needed.
